Don't you just love the vacation time of year? I hope everyone had a good time. Serious, not sarcastic.
Don was back and despite his health issues, managed a pretty start to a story. It's titled, In The Line Of Fire and has all the earmarks of a good mystery. Greg brought a couple of stories from In-the-Life-Of-A-Teacher genre and made everyone feel sorry for him
because he's a teacher. He also brought news that two of his short
stories were being included in an upcoming anthology. Good news, Greg!
Cat brought in two more chapters from The Legion. i think her writing
has actually improved from chapter one and these two were good examples
of that. She's changed the ending a bit and I think it makes the story
even more compelling that it already was. Lucio brought in another
chapter from Horizon Run. I was all set to ask him where the ending was
because I thought this chapter was it. Then he said, "More next time"
and I got excited because his last chapter was very good. I brought two
chapter from Suffer The Children and the reviews were generally good.
See? Sometimes things work out.
